Our Mission

The purpose of the Fiction Writers Weekend is to invite Black authors throughout the United States to become acquainted with San Antonio, TX area book clubs, and reading groups in San Antonio and surrounding cities.

Our committee is continuosly seeking interested authors, well-known as well as up and coming, to participate in a panel with a special focus on the craft of writing fiction. At our all day seminar, "Up Close and Personal", invited authors will have an opportunity to interact with community members and read from their works.
